Cotabato City, Philippines - Opisyal nang isinailalim ang supervision ng labing pitong higher education institutions ng Cotabato City sa Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education sa pamamagitan ng opisina ng Directorate General for Higher Education nito.
Pinangunahan ni Commission on Higher Education Chairperson J. Prospero De Vera III ang turn-over sa Koronadal City noong November 11.
Kabilang sa mga itinurn-over na mga institusyon ay ang Academia De Technologia in Mindanao Inc., AMA Computer College - Cotabato Campus, Antonio R. Pacheco College, Inc., Coland Systems Technology, Inc., De La Vida College, Inc., Dr. P. Ocampo Colleges, Inc., Headstart College of Cotabato, Inc., Jamiat Cotabato and Institute of Technology, Inc., Kutawato Darussalam College, Inc., Mindanao Capitol Colleges, Inc., Notre Dame Center for Cathechesis, Inc., Notre Dame Hospital and School of Midwifery, Notre Dame University, Notre Dame - RVM College of Cotabato, Shariff Kabunsuan College, Inc., St. Benedict College of Cotabato, Inc., at STI College Cotabato.
Sa mensahe ng pagtanggap ni Education Minister Mohagher Iqbal sinabi nito na ang mga institusyong ito ay kaagapay na sa pag-oobserba at pagsusulong ng mga prinsipyo ng Moral Governance tungo sa epektibong paghahatid ng higher education services at mababawasan na ang learning and teaching disparities sa rehiyon.
Nakasaad sa Bangsamoro Organic Law at Education Code na lahat ng higher education institution na dating pinamamahalaan ng CHED-ARMM kabilang na dito ang HEIs, Islamic Higher Education at Transnational HEIS at post-secondary institutions ay ilalagay sa ilalim ng administrasyon ng MBHTE.
