LANAO DEL SUR — Authorities arrested a 38-year old farmer Friday, April 1, 2022 in Barangay Bansayan Lumbac, Poonabayabao, Lanao Del Sur.
According to PNP BARMM, the farmer, identified as Ronnie, allegedly handed the poseur buyer two heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing a white crystalline substance believed to be methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu in exchange for five hundred pesos (P500.00) as payment.
Obtained from his possession were 40 grams of alleged shabu with a market value of 272,000 pesos and 1 unit of an M16A1 chamber bearing serial number RPO34570 with two magazines and ten live ammunitions.

The suspect will face charges for violation of Sec. 5, 11, and 12 of R.A 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002) and R.A 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act).
PNP BARMM Regional Director, Police Brigadier General Arthur Cabalona lauded the operating troops for the successful operation.
