Cotabato City - The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency BARMM seized a half kilo of shabu amounting to 3.4 million pesos in a buy-bust operation in Maria Clara St. Rosary Heights 4, Cotabato City, on Friday, August 30, 2022.
The operation also resulted in the arrest of alias Bon, twenty-three years old. Alias Bon is a resident of Barangay Kitapok, Datu Saudi, Ampatuan, Maguindanao.
His companion, alias Ryan was able to escape during the operation.
Alias Bon, however, was immediately brought to PDEA BARMM Jail Facility. A case for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 has been filed against him.
The successful operation was a joint effort of PDEA ARMM, Cotabato City Police Station 2, Talayan Municipal Police Station, Task Force Kutawato, Cotabato City Police Office-City Police Drug Enforcement Unit, High Patrol Group BARMM, and Philippine National Police Maritime partnered.
