Bukidnon - Vincent Isagani Madlos and his wife Angie were killed in a clash between government troops in Barangay Kapitan Bayong, Impasug-ong, Bukinon, Saturday.
Vincent Isagani was the son of the late NPA leader George " Ka Oris " Madlos, the former Commander and spokesperson of the National Operations Command of the New People's Army.
Reports from the Philippine Army's 403rd Infantry Brigade say they were carrying out their special operation when they encountered an undetermined number of NPA rebels resulting in a firefight.
The clash lasted for fifteen minutes (15), resulting in the couple's death.
The military recovered from their possession two AK47 Rifles, war materials, and other personal belongings.
Isagani's father, George Madlos, was also killed in the combined and joint operation of the Joint Task Force Diamond in Sitio Gabunan, Barangay Dumalaguing, Impasugong, Bukidnon this October 30, 2021.
