Cotabato City, Philippines - A 34-year old male, motorcycle driver was arrested in a buy-bust operation launched by elements of Cotabato City PNP, Friday, May 21, 2021 in Crislamville, Barangay Rorsary Heights 7.
Police Captain, Vincent Howel Wong, Cotabato City Police Station 3, Chief, said that the suspect was apprehended after one of their cops pretended as poseur buyer bought one (1) heat sealed plastic transparent sachet containing White Crystalline substance believed to be “shabu” weighing 0.1 grams with an estimated street value of P500.00.
Authorities immediately arrested the suspect after he received the marked money in exchange for one plastic sachet of suspected shabu.
The operating team also recovered the 500 peso buy-bust money from his possession.
The suspect is now in the custody of Police Station 3 and will face charges for violating Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
